COM Staging Examples
The CSSAPILIB primary interop assembly contains the managed (Microsoft .NET Framework) API for Commerce Server Staging (CSS). This interop assembly provides automatically generated, managed wrappers for the corresponding unmanaged (COM) API. There is a one-to-one mapping between unmanaged and managed CSS classes, methods, and properties. Because the descriptions, parameters, and return values are the same for both the unmanaged and managed APIs, documentation is provided for only the managed API.
However, the code examples that illustrate how to use the managed API do not correspond directly to examples for using the unmanaged API. Therefore, this section contains code examples that illustrate the use of the COM classes, methods, and properties to perform common CSS tasks.
