Day 1 on MsTeched 2003 - Israel

I arrived early today, my flight was schedualed to be on 8:00am

I was really glad because they were handing out wireless cards , and I knew there won't be enough.

I landed at 9:00am registered and went to the communication room just to learn that they will give it at 14:00

coming back at 14:00 they told me it will be prepared only on 17:00...

and that's after the big openning session.

So I asked a friend to take me one (he got out from the session early) and voula .... I got  a wireless card.

that's why you need friends..

my presentation is tommorow. I'm really excited , they estimated that 150 people out of 1500 will come (10%...mmmm...)

since I got so early here at eilat I worked some more on my demos.

there some really cool ones demontrating the structure of a pdb file and generating dump file on .net 1.0 an 1.1

one thing for sure. I've learned so much about .net debugging ,things I know I wouldn't have bothered to check if it was not for the presentation.

there are still so many things to say about vs.2003 like : sos debugger extension is built-in.

just on that issue I can spend a whole day.

so I narrowed it to breath taking demos (or at least I think so).

I've deleted many pages from the ppt ( i have about 15 pages now) and replaced the with short demos

least but not last . I'm here with my boss dmitry. someone from MS asked him to prepare a 15min presentation on moving to .net v1.1 and vs.net 2003 .. you can read more on my blog about the changes we found ..

anyhow I'm off to help him
