Play Crackdown 2 Multiplayer at PAX East!
If you’re headed to PAX (Penny Arcade eXpo) East in the Hynes Convention Center in Boston this weekend, be sure to drop by the Microsoft booth #811. The team will be there all three days, showing off a number of hot new Xbox LIVE Arcade games, some Games for Windows titles, and best of all, giving attendees the chance to experience Crackdown 2 multiplayer for the first time!
We’ll have 16 Xbox 360 kiosks running Crackdown 2, with both Rocket Tag and Team Deathmatch modes on display.
· Rocket Tag: The longer the carrier holds on to the Orb, the more the points stack up. The carrier’s defenses? Speed, strength, agility, and wits. The carrier’s one weapon? An Agent-repelling UV shotgun.
· Team Deathmatch - Two opposing teams face off in combat. At PAX, you’ll get a chance to try 4 vs 4 combat. When Crackdown 2 ships on July 6, you’ll be able to engage in 8 vs 8 battles as well.
In addition to Crackdown 2, PAX will give you a chance to get a first look at some great titles coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade in the coming months. These include one of my coin-op favorites, Hydro Thunder, as well as Snoopy Flying Aces, Limbo, Raskulls, and Hydrophobia. Games for Windows will be there as well, showing off Game Room, Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising, and Grand Theft Auto IV.
PAX East is sold out, so if you don’t already have tickets, it’s too late. But fear not: we’re sending our Inside Xbox team to the show, and Major Nelson and Ryan Treit will have highlights from PAX East, including a look at Crackdown 2 multiplayer, on the Inside Xbox channel on Xbox LIVE next week.

I hope they fix the lag that was present in the first game. It would be a shame to have a great new adversarial mode in multiplayer that disconnected constantly like the first game.Anonymous

the first crackdown was horrible.. I don't see how they had the money for a 2nd game.. It wasn't as bad as Just Cause 1 and 2 because that was seriously the worst game i ever playedAnonymous

@SonicBoom Are you stupid? Are you aware of how many copies of the first one they sold? Don't be so dense, simply because you don't like a game.Anonymous

I know alot of people who hated the first crackdown, but I don't agree. It was and still is one the funnest games to just mess around in with a friend. The new one is everything I could ask for in a sequel in more. I think the producers really listened to the players and there suggestions. And for the people who don't like crackdown, I'm sorry you don't enjoy having fun.
