Who you are?

I am a Lead Architect and VS ALM Specialist at Detrio Consultancy B.V, an Netherlands consulting company specializing in software development for 3D Business Visualization based on WPF technology and Microsoft Visual Studio Application Life Cycle Management. I have been working with Visual Studio ALM full-time since 2005. I have worked with a variety of companies ranging in size from just 10 employees up to some of Netherlands’s largest companies and government institutions. I am the founder and track owner of the VSTS User Group Netherlands and have presented VS ALM sessions several times for this user group. I am a Microsoft MVP (Visual Studio Application Life Cycle Management) and a member of the INETA User Group, a board member of the DotNed (.NET & VSTS User Group Netherlands) and maintain my blogs at https://hassanfad001.blogspot.com and https://www.dotned.nl/blogs/default.aspx

What makes you “tick”?

Participating in Rangers project is something that gives me a kick because of my community feeling. Helping others to do their job better and share knowledge with others are for me a key to success. That gives me a good feeling and makes me happy. So from Rangers perspective, working together with other Rangers to help people solving their IT problems is the best you can do.

Where you live?

I'm living in: The Netherlands (Europe). Originally from Morocco (Africa).

Where is the place you call home?

Morocco is the place where I'm home. Helping people to get up to date and doing their job on IT is one of the future plans I have to do there based on Microsoft technologies.  Morocco, VS ALM is coming :-)

Why are you active in the Rangers program?

I'm active in Rangers Program to share my knowledge and to help other to get started with doing their jobs better and the right way.

What is the best Rangers project you worked in and why?

The best Rangers Projects I worked in are:

  • VSTS - Quick Reference Guidance
  • VSTS - Requirements Management

These two projects are the best I did for the rangers program because of the project groups I worked with and the good structure of the project Management during this projects.

This post is part of an ongoing series of Rangers introductions. See An index to all Rangers covered on this blog for more details.
