Comparing English Text-to-Speech Samples

So how does one go about comparing the range of text-to-speech voices available? TMA Associates has a cool page on TTS comparing and consolidating a range of male and female voices from a wide range of companies. Interestingly, Microsoft Sam (the version of TTS included in Windows XP) is not included in the comparisons. It may be that its quality is not considered competitive.
