TechNet Conversations Podcast Show with Cliff Hobbs talking Management
Welcome to the TechNet Conversations show of the 31st August. It's available as a WMA and an MP3.
This week we are joined by Cliff Hobbs - an expert in management technologies. Cliff is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), a leader for the Windows Management User Group (WMUG) and the author of the faqshop.
During the show Cliff explains why he is excited about "Config Manager" - otherwise known as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), the significance of Branch Distribution Points (Branch DPs) and the integration with Network Access Protection (NAP). He also discusses how security updates have their own high priority channel and how to manage clients that rarely connect to your corporate network via the Internet Client Management featureset.
At the end of the show Cliff explains how to avoid installation problems - specifically the importance of not installing in the top level (c:/) directory.
