OpenText: Business Development Bank of Canada using SQL Server for their Commercial Lending Solution

On March 28th, 2011 Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) signed an agreement with the CGI Group for detailed analysis, manufacturing, testing and rollout of the commercial lending IT solution. This solution will be based on Microsoft technology consisting of three parts

  • the customer relationship management system Dynamics CRM,
  • the enterprise content management system OpenText ECM running on SQL Server, and
  • a business rules engine.

Claude Marcoux, CGI Senior Vice-President and General Manage stated,

“The involvement of CGI’s different Canadian centers of expertise and the Microsoft center of expertise in particular will certainly contribute to achieving BDC’s business objectives.”
