My colleague, Zain, has a great blog post with links on the what/why/when/where/how of SQL Server 2008 - enjoy!.  And, yes, if you are wondering, I am spending day and night working on my SQL Server 2008 BI book these days.  The intent is get this thing draft complete by August 31.

    More like "Yeah But...".  If you have VS 2008 SP1 (beta), don't bother attempting to install SQL 2008 Developer Edition (or higher), because you'll find out like it did that you can't install SQL Management Studio (and a couple of others).  Better wait until the "official' VS 2008 SP1 (RTM) becomse available (rumor says it'll be Monday, August 11).
