Refer your midsize customers to the Infrastructure Optimisation Assessment Tool
This has recently gone live - customer facing assessment tool. You can now refer your customer to this, or maybe do the assessment with them collaboratively as a way to put some science behind your conversations with your customers. The technique is of course originally based on a Gartner model which will give you that sense of credibility with your customers.
