There is a huge buzz around Live Mesh - I've been using it myself to test it out and the concept is superb, and the technology works well, even though only a tech preview. the basic idea is to synch devices and documents that you define, but with the option to share parts with people in your mesh. I think this will open up for many possible consumer and commercial scenarios and there is no question that clever and innovative partners will find some great business opportunities.

Right now it's hard for people to get invites to check it out but the corporate team has just sent an internal email offering to scale out the invites to targetted MS employees and customers and partners.

So my offer to the Aussie partner community - if you are a member of a registered, certified or Gold Microsoft partner (let me know in your mail) then please get in touch and I will personally nominate you to get a Mesh account (via an internal process) - there are no guarantees of timing but this will progress more quickly than the public application form which exists today.
