2nd in a Series of Webinars for ISVs – Software + Services

Clearly there is a lot of discussion around Software + Services these days, and how to best capitalize on this technology strategy to build businesses and continue to meet the needs of our customers.

Here’s the 2nd webinar which was held at the end of January. It’s presented by Kevin Wittkopf, a Senior Evangelism Manager at Microsoft, and highlights Microsoft’s view of Software as a Service (SaaS) from a technical level. It includes S+S/SOA architecture aspects, multi-tenancy approaches, moving from on-premise to SaaS (and vice versa), and architecture/technical challenges. This will also cover what is available from Microsoft in terms of platform, frameworks, tools, hosting, etc. to assist software companies in building SaaS/S+S offerings. Finally, the session will discuss Microsoft’s S+S offerings AKA ”Live”, and how ISVs may be able to plug into this in the future. You may view the streaming file here.
