How to create workflows that wont go into Maintenance Mode

    Hi Kevin,

    Is there a mechanism to see if we could avoid our Management servers going into Maintenance mode by creating a custom class like the above. I could not find any blog or article that could provide me some help. Please assist.

    We are using SCOM 2007 R2.

      Jesty, No way to prevent that, but what I've done is set up a check in Orchestrator. Every 15 minutes it checks to see if any Management servers are in maintenance mode. If so, it notifies the monitoring team and pulls them back out. This has worked well for me in the past to catch instances where SCOM Server Health Services have gotten put into maintenance accidentally.
