Thank you, 20/20 program: "An object in motion tends to stay in motion"

So I posted back in August about starting the 20/20 program from the pro club... I officially finished Phase 2 today, so I'm on my own. In November after I finished Phase 1 (12 weeks), I got my official 'after' pictures taken, and I finally got them to send me the soft copies today, so here they are. I need to take some after shots of now, to see how I've changed since November, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Boy, what a difference... lookee there, your calves can go out from your ankles because there's muscle, what a fascinating concept. While it's great to lose weight and tone up, the best part is just being healthy for the first time in my entire life. I'm currently training for a half marathon (9m run last weekend - admittedly, I was limping for 36 hours afterward) and tend to work out at least 5 days a week. I mostly eat whatever I want, just less amounts of it, although I do make healthier choices than I used to (e.g. I've only once had a snickers bar for lunch in the last four months, whereas I used to do that once a week :-).

...and apparently, I need to get my glasses fixed, never noticed they were off-kilter :-)

If this exercise-averse "you can't make me run" couch-potato can do it... anybody can.

P.S. Credit for the usage of the quote in this purpose stolen from a comment on that old post, love the idea.

Congratulations, just don't do too much at once because rapid "workload" change isn't healthy for the heart.
