I just noticed this...
I have 5 notebooks I have shared with others on SkyDrive. What I just noticed was that the only real differentiation to them is that they are shared with different groups of people. If I need to share more information with my siblings, I just add a new section to the notebook I already share with them.
I'm trying to figure out how this will affect my testing. I guess one change is that a new notebook can now be viewed as being created only to share with a new group of people. Maybe it is a subset of users on a separate notebook already or maybe with all new folks.
Other than this change, though, I can't really think of any other changes to make off the top of my head. Now that I am aware of it, I'm sure I'll come up with more. It just struck me and I thought it was kind of interesting.
Questions, comments, concerns and criticisms always welcome,
John

What you describe is what happens to me as well, and one of my problems. One of the great advantages I found in Google Wave was the fact that I could add and remove people from a given Wave (document). In my environment, a document can evolve through different paths, and I'd like to be able to change who am I sharing it with. In fact, we turned to OneNote searching for a replacement for Google Wave, which was going to be closed. For example, I could add the whole programming team to a document and later, once a couple of them take ownership of that information, I'd like to remove the rest of the programmers. They are not interested in that doc anymore, and they start seeing a clutter of docs. If I could add and remove people from a doc like I made on our Waves, I could make sure that every document a person can see in our shared notebook is relevant to him or her (because I have removed that person from the docs that do not need from him or her anymore).Anonymous

Hi, I am a new user of microsoft onenote 2010 used with office 2010 and i have associates that use onenote 2010 with office 2007 and correspond with me adding to the notebooks we created ongoingly. i have a question though. my brother now wants to be able to open onenote notebooks through onenote on his mac. his mac has office on it but not onenote. i dont like the idea of him having to open web version on skydrive, as it looks different than opening something on onenote. what do you suggest? thank you, tomAnonymous

Hi Tom, The only thing I can think to use would be Boot Camp or Parallels for the Mac to let your brother run OneNote 2010. Or just keep using the web client - it does look a little different, but hopefully not TOO different.
