- Code samples and documentation covering toolbox controls integration, general IDE integration, Domain-specific Languages (DSL), Team Foundation Server extensibility, Data Designers extensibility , and other areas
- Support for RANU in Windows Vista.
In addition, we have also posted the following:

Is the VSTS 2008 TFS SDK available? The Visual Studio 2008 SDK does not seem to contain TFS SDK API document. Thanks.Anonymous

Jason - I believe the plan was to include TFS documentation in the SDK but I see that it appears to be missing from this release. I'm checking with folks on my team to understand what's going on and will post another comment as soon as I learn more. JeffAnonymous

Jason - after working with the SDK further, I have found the TFS SDK documentation. If you load up the SDK docs, you'll see on the main page a link to "Team Foundation Server SDK". Clicking on that link you should go to the docs you're looking for. Alternatively, you can find all of this online as well: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb130146(VS.90).aspx. Hope that helps! jeffAnonymous

Jeff: I have a VSTS 2008 TFS work group CD image file (i.e. en_visual_studio_team_system_2008_team_foundation_server_workgroup_x86_x64wow_dvd_X14-29253.iso). When you start install this file, a installation window shows. On the left page is a list of documents and software. When you select a document on the left page, only the "View" button is enabled. Does this mean that each time I want to view a document, I must go througth this installation file or bookmark its url in the browser? I remember that VSTS 2005 TFS document has local installation version, which is quite convenient when you want to reference a class and its methods. Does not VSTS 2008 TFS have a local installed document version? Or I have the wrong installation file? ThanksAnonymous

Jeff: I tried the link that you gave above (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb130146(VS.90).aspx). It redirect to http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms123400(VS.90).aspx, which shows the content retired. Could you point me to a lastest working url please? Or is the site temporarily down? ThanksAnonymous

Jason - thanks for your note about the broken URL. I'm having folks on our side look into this as we speak and I'll post again when I hear the resolution of their investigation. Thanks, jeffAnonymous

Jason - as our documentation manager, this is like a bad dream and what you're seeing is definitely broken. We're in the process of tracking this down with the MSDN team but it may take us a bit to recover. I'll post again when we've restored these docs online. In the meantime, the VS2005 SDK docs for TFS are still applicable as we didn't change interfaces between TFS 2005 and 2008. jeffAnonymous
