Virtual Billboards

I like the way businesses can hire out virtual billboards as advertising space on Virtual Earth - I imagine this medium is going to prove very valuable to advertisers.  Check out these examples I found in and around Boston:

 

And Seattle, which also has really good 3D mapping

    Tomer: You think that Google won't be doing this kind of thing too?  Also, Google Earth won't work in your browser.

    Another reason to use Google Maps or, if you need the bling, Google Earth. Those billboards get in the way!

    James: Google has adsense, they are better than to interfere with the actual user experience, and Virtual Earth doesn't work in my browser. :/
