Virtual Billboards
I like the way businesses can hire out virtual billboards as advertising space on Virtual Earth - I imagine this medium is going to prove very valuable to advertisers. Check out these examples I found in and around Boston:

Another reason to use Google Maps or, if you need the bling, Google Earth. Those billboards get in the way!Anonymous

James: Google has adsense, they are better than to interfere with the actual user experience, and Virtual Earth doesn't work in my browser. :/
