The Zune Ecosystem already growing

The number of third party addons and products for the Zune is already starting to increase with companies like Belikin, Altec Lansing, Monster Cable, Logitech, Klipsch Audio Technologies and VAF Research either having already launched products or in the process of doing so.

You didn't think we'd miss out did you? :-) Microsoft have already announced 30 accessories which are available from Zune.net

So what's the other ecosystem to watch out for in the coming months?  It's the social one.  With Zune, we're obviously trying to mimmic the success that XBox Live has enjoyed.  It's created a whole new way of gaming and now Sony and Nintendo are trying to catch up in that particular area.  If Microsoft can achieve similar attachment with the social networking side of Zune it could make for an interesting battle with the iPod in 2007.
