Shopping for cars, much like buying Windows in the future...
Those thought leaders over at Gartner have sited Virtualisation as the end of what we know as Windows.
So, in the future we should expect a more modular approach where you can build your own Windows according to your needs. It's comparable to choosing the extras on your car I guess. First you choose your model then you figure out if you've got enough cash left over to get the CD-changer and the leather interior, or would that mean dropping the air conditioning... decisions, decisions.
