Help create a solution to protect data on laptops
Found this on Microsoft Connect today, might be of interest to some IT admins focussing on security
Help us create a solution to protect confidential data on laptop computers!
We Need Your Help!
The Microsoft Solutions for Security and Compliance (MSSC) team is kicking off a new project focused on helping our customers protect the data on their laptops against loss or theft. This is your opportunity to get involved in this project on the ground floor!
If you are involved in security as it relates to your organization’s client computers, we invite you to participate in the Laptop Data Protection Microsoft Connect site. Initially, we ask you to complete a survey that will help us understand our customers’ requirements. In the future, we will use the Connect site to make available pre-release versions of the guidance and tools we will create, to accept requests for features, and so on.
Once you have signed up for the Laptop Data Protection program, please complete the Laptop Data Protection Requirements Survey. We estimate that it will take 15 minutes or so.
To report a problem or to ask a question, visit the Contact Us page (linked to at the bottom of every page).
Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you!Sincerely,
Bill Canning
Program Manager
