And the winner is.....

Thanks to the 823 people who entered the Windows Vista Lanyard competition.  I've not had the time to read every entry but rest assured the ones I did read were very funny indeed.  The lanyards seem to attract alot of interest from Russia - I'm sorry guys but I can't understand your emails - however, that's not to say you can't win!

A quick reminder of the question I asked, which was: "How often do you wear a Lanyard?"

I wear a lanyard every time I go to my university; not that it is required, but it [along with my ID] gives me the sense of identity. A Windows Vista lanyard might give me a different sense of identity – a higher one, I guess.

Good afternoon, I here have decided to participate in competition. I use a cord very often, at me on a cord my handheld computer Dell x51v weighs, and I without it(him) as without hands, hope, that I shall be one of those lucky beggars who will receive a cord.

It is a real competition who can obtain the best lanyard which we wear our identification pass everyday at work. We tend to get a lot of lanyards from various companies, trade shows etc and I think this would be a terrific and highly sought after lanyard as no one else has one.

    Hi Josky I'll be contacting you and all the winners shortly by email to collect postal addresses and then sending the lanyards on their way.  Sorry for not sending them out sooner - I've been really busy at the moment. Thanks for your patience James
