Ho iniziato a muovermi nell'Informatica nel lontano 1982 usando uno ZX Spectrum, per poi cimentarmi anche sul mitico Commodore 64 ed affrontare i primi problemi di porting (e di lunghe ore per riscrivere i programmi); la passione e la voglia di apprendere mi hanno portato a studiare e ad approfondire la conoscenza di diversi linguaggi di programmazione e delle varie architetture e tecnologie dei sistemi operativi, che rimangono i miei due interessi principali. Nel mese di giugno del 2011 ho ricevuto il mio primo Microsoft Community Contributor Award. Moderatore di due Forum e membro del TechNet Wiki International Council. Biography
I have been working with .NET since its initial release. I've been beta testing .NET and Visual Studio for quite a few years. I've used many .NET technologies over the years ranging from web services to remoting, ASP.NET to Windows services, utilities to Fortune 500 corporate business applications. I prefer to stay in C# but my travels have included teaching in VB.NET, migrating apps through Managed C++ and playing around with some border languages like F# and APL.NET. My perfect .NET job would have me writing development tools in C# for .NET developers or teaching .NET to students or other developers. I'm just waiting on the perfect company to provide me this opportunity :} I currently work in Euless, TX in 100+ degree weather. I work for the Federation of State Medical Boards where we use several different ASP.NET applications to support medical professionals.

I was originally awarded MVP for SQL Server by Microsoft in April 2001, and I am very happy to have retained the award through the years. Here in the forums, I love to help people to use SQL Server. Professionally, I am a self-employed consultant providing expert services for SQL Server development.
