June 2012 Security Updates are Live on ECE for XPe and Standard 2009

The June 2012 Security Updates are now available on the ECE for Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded with Service Pack 3 and Windows® Embedded Standard 2009.

The list below applies to Standard 2009 only:

  • KB2604121 - Vulnerabilities in .NET Framework Could Allow Remote Code Execution
  • KB2656405 - Combined Security Update for Microsoft Office, Windows, .NET Framework, and Silverlight
  • KB2656368 - Vulnerabilities in .NET Framework Could Allow Remote Code Execution
  • KB2686827 - Vulnerabilities in .NET Framework Could Allow Remote Code Execution

These updates can be applied to the embedded component database.  The database updates incorporate all security updates from prior months for the current year; therefore you do not need to install previous security database updates.
