Next Wave of Microsoft Technologies for Office 365

Wednesday 27th February 2013 - The Next Wave comes to Office 365!

Since the release of the next wave of Microsoft Core Products and Services towards the end of last year, we have all been looking forward to the next wave of technologies to be released on Office 365. last week Steve Ballmer (Microsoft CEO) announced the release date for new tenancy's of Office 365 running the new wave of Office technologies.

The announcement which included the release of the new Office 365 Home Premium which is now generally available combines the latest versions of the Office applications you count on, with access to additional features such as additional Sky Drive storage and Skype world minutes, This new service is better suited for families who want full access to Office programs on up to 5 PCs or Macs, plus cloud services, all as a convenient annual or monthly subscription.

You can purchase the subscriptions on a yearly basis which would cost you £79.99 per year or if you prefer a monthly payment option this will cost you £7.99 per month, it is important to note that this is for non-commercial use ONLY.

further more, the announcement by Steve Ballmer, set a date of the 27th February 2013 for the new wave of products to be available to businesses via Office 365.  For now Existing customers will have to wait for the upgrade until a later date which will be released shortly... If you are looking at migrating to Microsoft Cloud Services, I recommend you save yourself of an upgrade and wait for the 27th February 2013.
