Rebecca Dias has posted up a slide deck she presented with HP at a recent

Gartner Application and Integration Conference on SOA. It's worth a look. One slide quotes a Jan 03 CIO Magazine poll:

369 CIOs were asked which platform is preferred in building Web services

Microsoft .NET 46.5%
IBM WebSphere 19%
Sun One 8.2%

    Hmmm that adds up to 73.7%

    What about the other 26.3% ???

    well... I haven't read the original survey, but I'm guessing the other 26.3% think web services are what Peter Parker's alter-ego brings to the table. :-)
