Note

This generic method is available only when developing for Windows.

Writes a single object to the output XML stream using the specified serializer worker.

Syntax

Type Parameters

T
The type of value to write.

Parameters

value
Type: T
The value to write.
format
Type: ContentSerializerAttribute
The format of the XML.

Remarks

This method does not write any type identifier, so it cannot support null or polymorphic values and the reader must specify an identical type while deserializing.
