Windows Script Host

Windows Script Host creates an environment in which script engines run the commands contained in script files. The Windows Script Host supports several script engines, including JScript and VBScript. Windows Script Host is ideal for non-interactive scripting needs, and it allows you to run scripts from the Windows desktop or from the command prompt.
