Viewing details about active IPSec policies in IP Security Monitor

IP Security Monitor allows you to view details about the active IPSec policies that are applied to the domain, the local computer, or a remote computer. This topic describes the type of details that IP Security Monitor displays.

Active IPSec policies that are applied by the domain

The following table describes the items that are displayed when you use IP Security Monitor to view details about an active IPSec policy that is applied by the domain.

Active IPSec policy item Description

Policy Name

Specifies the name of the active IPSec policy.

Description

Optional text that describes the purpose of the active IPSec policy.

Policy Last Modified

Not applicable (this information is displayed only for active IPSec policies that are applied to a computer).

Policy Store

Specifies the storage location for the active IPSec policy. For active IPSec policies that are applied by the domain, this location appears as "Domain Store."

Policy Path

Specifies the LDAP path to the active IPSec policy.

Organizational Unit

Specifies the organizational unit to which the Group Policy object is applied.

Group Policy Object Name

Specifies the Group Policy object to which the active IPSec policy is applied.

Active IPSec policies that are applied to a computer

The following table describes the items that are displayed when you use IP Security Monitor to view details about active IPSec policies that are applied to a computer.
