Make a dial-up connection by using an ISDN line

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To make a dial-up connection by using an ISDN line

  1. Open Network Connections.

  2. Double-click New Connection Wizard, and then click Next.

  3. In Network Connection Type, do one of the following:

    • Click Connect to the Internet. In Internet Connection, click Connect using a dial-up modem, and then click Next.

    • Click Connect to the network at my workplace. In Network Connection, click Dial-up connection, and then click Next.

  4. Follow the instructions in the New Connection wizard.

Notes

  • To open Network Connections, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.

  • To enable automatic dialing for all users, create a connection, save your user name and password for all users, and then enable Internet Connection Sharing for the new connection.

  • Internet Connection Sharing and Network Bridge are not included in Windows Server 2003, Web Edition; Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition; and the Itanium-based versions of the original release of the Windows Server 2003 operating systems.
