ATTRIBUTENAME Attribute | attributeName Property

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Sets or gets the name of the element attribute to animate.

Syntax

HTML <ELEMENT ATTRIBUTENAME = sAttribute... >
Scripting [ sAttribute = ] object.attributeName [ = sAttribute ]

Possible Values

sAttribute String that specifies or receives the name of the element attribute to animate.

The property is read/write. The property has no default value.

Remarks

The value of this property must be a valid attribute on the specified element.

Example

This example shows how to use the attributeName property set to "width" to animate the width attribute on the element.
