lookupNamespaceURI method

Gets the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) of the namespace associated with a namespace prefix, if any.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.lookupNamespaceURI(pvarPrefix, pvarNamespaceURI);

Parameters

pvarPrefix [in]

Type: VARIANT

The prefix.

pvarNamespaceURI [out, retval]

Type: VARIANT

The URI of the namespace.

NULL

Default. Returned when no URI is found.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
