Show or hide an object on the artboard
The column under Show all/Hide all indicates the visibility of an object on the artboard. When the eye button is visible in the row that corresponds to an object, the object and all its child objects are visible on the artboard.

Show all/Hide all applies only to the view of your object on the artboard in Blend for Visual Studio 2012. Show all/Hide all does not affect the visibility of your object when you run your application. For more information, see Show or hide an object in your application. |

You can modify an object on the artboard when it is hidden, but you will not be able to see your changes reflected on the artboard until the object is visible again. |
To hide an object on the artboard
- Under Objects and Timeline, click the eye button in the same row as the object.
To show an object that is hidden on the artboard
- Under Objects and Timeline, click the dot button in the same row as the object.
To show or hide all objects on the artboard
- Under Objects and Timeline, click Show all/ Hide all at the top of the hide/show column.
