You can rename Solution Folders to help yourself and other developers to easily understand the organization of a solution. Two or more Solution Folders in a solution can have the same name if they do not have the same parent Solution Folder.

To rename a Solution Folder

1. In Solution Explorer, select the Solution Folder you want to rename.

2. On the View menu, choose Properties Window.

3. In the Properties window, locate the Name property and type a new name.
