BaseReference Element

In Configuration Manager 2007, in derived configuration items, the BaseReference element is used in the definition of a child configuration item and identifies its immediate parent configuration item. The parent and child configuration items must be of the same configuration item type. Derivation is not supported for Baseline configuration items or Software Updates.

The AuthoringScopeId representing the author of the referenced configuration item.

LogicalName

xs:Name

The unique identity of the referenced configuration item.

Version

unsignedInt

The version of the referenced configuration item.
