A RestoreSecurity enumeration value: CopyAll | SkipMembership | IgnoreSecurity

Comentários

  • CopyAll –all Role objects from the backup file will be restored as they were at the time of backup.

  • IgnoreSecurity –the server will remove all existing Role objects from the database that is in the backup file and replace them with the Role objects in database that is being overwritten. In effect, the user will see no change in the roles after restore. If backup is not overwriting the database, but just restoring anew, you will not see any roles after restore is finished.

  • SkipMembership –the server will retain membership information. All Role objects will be restored from backup, but membership in the roles will match the state before the restore. If the database is restored anew (not overwriting existing database), then after the restore, all Role objects will contain no members.
