Remarks
Event providers submit event data to application event classes. Each application can have zero or more event providers.
Hosted event providers are run by the Notification Services engine. Hosted event providers start and stop when the Notification Services engine starts and stops. You can enable and disable hosted event providers through the Notification Services administration tools.
