JobStep.OutputFileName Property

Gets or sets the name and path of the operating system file that records job step result message text.

Property Value

An OSRunPriority value that specifies the priority given to job steps executing operating system tasks.

Remarks

The sysadmin permission level is required to access this property in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. N.sysadmins can also use this property.

Set OutputFileName to start recording result message text to the file indicated by the property. Set OutputFileName to an empty string to stop recording.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
