Application.BaseDirectoryPath Property

Gets or sets the base directory path for the application definition file (ADF).

Property Value

A String, between 1 and 260 characters in length, specifying the path of the application's root folder.

Remarks

If you use the Application(Instance,String) constructor, the default value is an empty string. If you use the default constructor, you must either provide a path or set the value to an empty string.

If you do not specify a path, you must use the fully-qualified file name for the application definition file (ADF).

Example

The following example shows how to set the base directory path for an application:

myApplication.BaseDirectoryPath = @"C:\NS\Full";
myApplication.BaseDirectoryPath = "C:\NS\Full"

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
