FileSystemTask.OperationName Property

Gets or sets the name of the task.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.FileSystemTask
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.FileSystemTask (in microsoft.sqlserver.filesystemtask.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Property OperationName As String
public string OperationName { get; set; }
public:
virtual property String^ OperationName {
    String^ get () sealed;
    void set (String^ value) sealed;
}
/** @property */
public final String get_OperationName ()

/** @property */
public final void set_OperationName (String value)
public final function get OperationName () : String

public final function set OperationName (value : String)

Property Value

The name of the operation.

Example

The following code example creates a FileSystemTask as an Executable in a package. The FileSystemTask copies a test folder, which contains two subfolders and a .txt file, to another folder. The operation to perform is a copy of the directory and its child folders and files, so Operation is set to CopyDirectory. An arbitrary name is assigned to the operation.
