Returns a String value of the abbreviated month in the referenced language.

Parameters

month
A Month object value that specifies the month of the year.

Return Value

A String value that specifies the abbreviated month in the referenced language.

Remarks

By specifying the day of the week using a Month object, the ShortMonth method returns a string value containing the month in abbreviated format in the referenced language, Sep for example.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
