Returns the version number of the package. This property is read-only.

Property Value

An Integer that contains the package version number.

Remarks

The version in the package is reviewed, and if the version number is less than the current version in the runtime, the package XML is replaced with the new, updated package XML.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
