Parameter Values Page (Data-Driven Subscription Wizard)
Use this page to modify the parameter values of a parameterized report to which you are subscribing. The values on this page originate from the report definition at design time, or from the Parameters property page of a report. Not all values can be modified for subscription purposes.
Options
- Parameter
Shows the prompt string of the parameter used to request a parameter value. If no prompt string is defined, this value is empty.
- Value Type
Provides information about how the parameter value is obtained. You can specify Static Selection if you want to define the value in the subscription, or Query Results Field if you want to map a parameter to field in the subscription data result set.
Value
If you specified Static Selection, you can type a value, choose Null, or choose Use Default. You must know in advance which values are valid for the parameter. If you specified Query Results Field, you can select a field from the result set to map to the parameter.
- Use Default
Select this check box to use the default parameter value (if one is defined) in the report definition or the Parameter properties page.
- Null
Select this check box to specify null as the default value. A null value means that the report runs even if you do not provide a parameter value.
