Rules Tab (Mining Model Viewer View)

Use the Rules pane to view the rules that have a probability greater than the Minimum probability, that an association rules mining model contains. You can use the options in the viewer to filter the number of rules that are displayed in the viewer.

Options

  • Refresh viewer content
    Reload the mining model in the viewer.
  • Mining Model
    Choose a mining model to view that is contained in the current mining structure. The mining model will open in its associated viewer.
  • Viewer
    Choose a viewer to use to view the selected mining model. This list includes the viewers that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services (SSAS) provides for each mining model, the Microsoft Mining Content Viewer, and any plug-in viewers.
  • Minimum probability
    Set the minimum probability for a rule to appear in the viewer.
  • Minimum importance
    Set the minimum importance for a rule to appear in the viewer.
  • Filter Rule
    Enter a condition to filter the number of rules that appear in the viewer. If you have previously entered a condition, you can reuse it by selecting it from the list.
  • Show
    Adjust the way that the itemset is displayed in the viewer. You can select one of the three following options:

    • Show the attribute name and value
    • Show the attribute value only
    • Show the attribute name only
  • Show long name
    Show the full name of the rule as it appears in the mining model content.
  • Maximum rows
    Limit the number of rules that are displayed in the viewer.
  • Support
    Display the probability for each rule.
  • Size
    Display the importance for each rule.
  • Itemset
    Display the content for each rule.
