How to: Organize Calculations

You organize calculations in the Script Organizer. This is part of the Calculations view in Cube Designer. Cube Designer can be accessed from Business Intelligence Development Studio.

Important

The order in which named sets, calculated members, and scripts are listed in Script Organizer determines the order in which they are evaluated. This in turn, can affect the results of the calculations.

To organize calculations

  1. Open the cube for which you want to organize calculations, and then click the Calculations tab.

  2. In Script Organizer, click the calculation whose order you want to change and then click the Up or Down arrow until the calculation is where you want it to be in the list. Alternatively, you can click a calculation in Script Organizer and drag it to a new position in the list.
