Configuring the SQL Server Environment
To exchange data with SQL Server, you must first install the software components required for use with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition (SQL Server Compact Edition). For more information, see Installing a Server Environment.
After installing the required components, you must configure SQL Server to support replication and remote data access (RDA) before you can exchange data between SQL Server Compact Edition and SQL Server.
