MergePullSubscription.HostName Property

Gets or sets the value supplied to the HOST_NAME function when this function is used in the parameterized row filter that defines the Subscriber's data partition.

Property Value

A String value.

Remarks

The HostName property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Subscriber or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the subscription database.

The HostName property can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Subscriber or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the subscription database.

Retrieving the HostName property is equivalent to executing sp_helpmergepullsubscription.

Setting the HostName property is equivalent to executing sp_addmergepullsubscription_agent or sp_changemergepullsubscription.

The HostName property is availably only with instances of Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
