How to: Access Books Online for SQL Server 2005
Use the following procedure to start Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Books Online from the Start menu on the Microsoft Windows desktop, or to locate the SQL Server 2005 Books Online default installation directory.
To access SQL Server 2005 Books Online from the Start menu
Point to All Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and then click SQL Server Books Online.
SQL Server 2005 Books Online will start.
To access SQL Server 2005 Books Online from Windows Explorer
From the Windows desktop, right-click Start, and then click Explore.
Navigate to %ProgramFiles%\ Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Books\1033. This is the default installation directory for the English-language SQL Server Books Online.
Note
If you installed SQL Server Books Online in a language other than English, the SQL Server Books Online installation directory will be in a language-specific folder in the …\Tools\Books\ directory.
