BulkCopy2 Object

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The BulkCopy2 object represents the parameters of a single bulk copy command issued against a Microsoft SQL Server database (SQL Server 2000 or later) and extends the functionality of the BulkCopy object.

TableLock Property

Remarks

The BulkCopy2 object extends the functionality of the BulkCopy object for use with features that were added in SQL Server 2000. It also inherits the properties and methods of the BulkCopy object.

The TableLock property of the BulkCopy2 object may not be compatible with instances of SQL Server version 7.0 or earlier. For information about using the BulkCopy2 object in an application that also runs with an instance of SQL Server 7.0, refer to the Remarks section of the TableLock property.
