Using the Speech Add-in for Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer
The appropriate client for use with Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC (Pocket PC) speech applications varies, depending on whether the application is in development, unit testing, or system testing and deployment.
- During development, use either the Speech Add-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer or the Speech Add-in for Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer (the Pocket PC client) to run and debug Pocket PC speech applications.
- During unit testing, run Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC speech applications on the Speech Add-in for Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer (the Pocket PC client), and debug using Speech Debugging Console.
- For system testing and deployment, run the application on the Pocket PC client.
