The names of the ASP.NET Speech Controls shared by all alert dialogs are listed below. Each of the Speech Control names listed below is linked to a table that presents the specific user inputs and application responses.

  • SayTransferringToOperatorQA Control Prompt
    This control informs the user that the application is transferring the user to an operator. The prompt is for informational purposes only and no user input is expected. This informational prompt is implemented using a QA Dialog Speech Control.
  • SayTransferFailedQA Control Prompt
    This control informs the user that the application is unable to transfer the user to an operator. The prompt is for informational purposes only and no user input is expected. This informational prompt is implemented using a QA Dialog Speech Control.
  • SayGoodbyeQA Control Prompt
    This control indicates to the user that the dialogue is finished. The prompt is for informational purposes only and no user input is expected. This informational prompt is implemented using a QA Dialog Speech Control.
  • CatchExcessiveSilenceOrNoRecoQA Control Prompt
    This control indicates to the user that the application is unable to assist the user. The prompt is played in response to either excessively long periods of user silence, or four successive failures to recognize the user's speech. The prompt is for informational purposes only and no user input is expected. This informational prompt is implemented using a QA Dialog Speech Control.
