ShortInitialTimeout Property for French (Canada)

  Microsoft Speech Technologies Homepage

Gets or sets the time, in milliseconds, before the OnSilence event is raised. Read/write.

Usage

ASP.NET markup: <speech:DataTableNavigator ShortInitialTimeout="..." />
Get value: Long = DataTableNavigator.ShortInitialTimeout;
Set value: DataTableNavigator.ShortInitialTimeout = Long;
Data type: Long
Required: No; Default: 1200

Remarks

If ShortInitialTimeout is greater than 0, automatic navigation is on and OnSilence navigates to the next row of available data. If set to 0, automatic navigation is turned off.

The control throws an exception if ShortInitialTimeout is a negative value.
